Energyra® DynamIQ

When size and weight matters

Standard solar panels are heavy. Not in the least because of their thick glass sheet on the front. OK, let's rethink that! Energyra’s DynamIQ is a unique, lightweight solar panel. The innovative structure meets a variety of demands. A challenge for our researchers turned into an opportunity for all constructions that in the past were not designed for PV implementation.

Lightweight + power harvest

1 + 1 = 3!

Together with leading partners our unique, innovative front substrate has been developed with durable and protective properties. Main focus: reduce weight without compromising our premium quality.

Our PV technology turned out to be very beneficial for this. At the rear of the DynamIQ module we love our built-in, metallized environmental barrier. On top of that we developed a combination of hightech UV-stabilized material.

The result is an ultra light panel. Yet with unrivaled sturdiness, and still fully recyclable.

Just think about that!

The MWT back contact design marginalizes the effect of microcracks and hotspots to

an absolute minimum. In addition, the internal redundancy is optimally guaranteed with 61 active contacts per cell (3.660 at panel level). Especially when compared to the limited amount of busbars or wires on any traditional module.

Due to its low weight, the panel is easy to handle and can be used in locations where standard systems are not suitable. We love opening these new horizons!

Aesthetics is only one aspect. With the other ingredients it summs up to an ultra light panel. Yet with unrivaled sturdiness, and still fully recyclable.

Great benefits at a glance

MWT - PERC Solarcells

More net surface to generate power

Each solar cell converts sunlight into electricity. PERC monocrystalline cells are known for their broader spectral response, allowing them to generate lots of power in the early morning and late afternoon light as well. Combined with MWT (Multi Wrap Through) technology, the cells have a larger working surface that is exposed to the sun than conventional cells. Busbars are unnecessary. Above all: busbar-shading is completely ruled out!

Minimized micro-crack risk

More robust than conventional modules

Small cracks in solar cells are impossible to see with the bare eye, but can really impact the performance of a PV system. Most solar cells are composed of very thin silicon wafers, usually around 0.15 - 0.20 mm thick. Pressure or stress can induce micro-cracks. Newbies in the solar industry often unknowingly create micro-cracks by throwing boxes of gear on top of stacked panels or even balancing panels on their heads as they walk towards a ladder. Standing or kneeling on panels during installation is also a contributor to micro-cracks.

Energyra bank contact modules are more robust than conventional modules because of the integrated Conductive Backsheet (CBS). This innovative copper design ensures optimal contact with an incredible number of contact points across the entire cell. It acts as an additional (metal) environmental barrier to protect the cells and keep them sturdily in place, and actually strengthens the contacting architecture. If a micro-crack should occur, the cell will still be in perfect contact with the copper that conducts the energy, effectively designing the negative effects of microcracks out of the module.

Quality cells combined with high-quality European solar glass and sturdy frames makes Energyra modules virtually immune to micro-cracks in real-life conditions.

Minimal 'Light Induced Degradation' (LID)

Significantly more yield over the entire lifespan

Due to technological advances in cell design and cell performance, LID impact on our DynamIQ modules is exceptionally low. So yield over the entire lifespan is significantly enhanced.

LID is the effect that occurs as soon as the panel is connected, the cells have to 'warm up' in the broad daylight for a bit before reaching the optimum yield.
